• Tires: 665 passenger tires — about 15,960 lbs (≈ 8 tons) — Liberty Tire Recycling
• Electronics: ≈ 3,100 lbs of e‑waste (TVs, computers, phones, peripherals) — City eWaste
• Secure Documents: ≈ 5,000 lbs shredded in four hours — River City Shredding
• Prescription Meds*: part of the 520 lbs county‑wide total reported by Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office & Soddy‑Daisy Police
• Households Served: ≈ 300

Join Keep Soddy-Daisy Beautiful for our Annual Soddy-Daisy Recycling Event, a key part of the Hamilton County Cleanup Challenge and the Greatest American Cleanup, as we gear up for the nation’s 250th birthday celebration in 2026!
♻️ What We’re Collecting at the Soddy-Daisy Recycling Event:
Tires (9:00 AM – 3:00 PM)
Bring clean tires for recycling. A limited-capacity tire cleaning station will be available for lightly dirty ones. Please help us conserve space by pre-cleaning if possible.
Electronics (8:00 AM – 3:00 PM)
Accepted by City eWaste:
Document Shredding (10:00 AM – 2:00 PM)
Secure onsite shredding provided by River City Shredding.
Drug Take-Back (10:00 AM – 2:00 PM)
Drop off expired or unwanted medications with the Hamilton County Coalition, in partnership with local law enforcement.

- Drop-Off: Bring your recyclables between 8:00 AM and 3:00 PM.
